Doesn't seem that long since established first team players drove cars like that. I think Cottee had an Escort XR3 and Frank a Capri.. They'd have supercars now. And no, 30 years wasn't a long time ago.

Doesn't surprise me with seeing what the kids earn now - those that don't make it will be used to living way beyond their means.
For example, Quina just passed his test and he has a brand new Range Rover. 10 years ago Collison, Tomkins etc had a Fiesta or an Astra.
